Starting a new project on Kefalonia. Preliminary codename: Project Dilinata.
We’ve always been captivated by Kefalonia—a place that holds a special meaning for us. For Anastasia, this connection runs even deeper as her family’s roots are firmly planted in the island’s soil. The mesmerizing deep blue Ionian Sea, the Italian-inspired architecture, and the vibrant color palette of Kefalonia have left a lasting impression, drawing her back time and again, both for pleasure and work.
Our connection to Kefalonia is reflected in two of our most cherished projects: Artera Villa and Villa Bonora. These projects allowed us to immerse ourselves in the island’s unique interplay of light and shadow, its stunning natural beauty, and its distinctive Ionian character. Both summer residences have become standout destinations, attracting visitors from around the globe.
Recently, word of our work reached a new client with a vision to transform an old house in the village of Dilinata into a must-visit summer retreat. Overlooking the iconic capital of Kefalonia, Argostoli, this project, aptly codenamed Project Dilinata, brings with it a fresh set of creative challenges.
Our mission is twofold: to conceptualize a versatile design that caters to both short-term renters and potential permanent residents while honoring the island’s distinct charm. Drawing inspiration from Kefalonia’s unique aesthetic, we’ve begun assembling a vibrant moodboard, setting the stage for a design that is modern, functional, and visually striking.
In addition to reimagining the indoor spaces, we’re tasked with designing the outdoor area, incorporating an inviting terrace, a swimming pool, and parking space while maximizing the breathtaking view of Argostoli. Our goal is to craft an exceptional experience for future guests while maintaining functionality and flow.
We’re thrilled to embark on this exciting new project in Anastasia’s beloved Kefalonia. The journey has only just begun, and we can’t wait to share the key developments with you.
