SPEAK! Goes International: Nominated at the 25th LANAFF Festival

We are beyond excited – and incredibly proud – to share that our animated short film SPEAK! has been officially nominated at the 25th LANAFF Festival (Latin American and Native Film Festival)!

After months of hard work, creativity, and careful storytelling, it is a true honor to see SPEAK! recognized on an international stage. The nomination marks a significant milestone not just for the film itself, but also for the broader cause it represents: raising awareness and sparking conversation around gender-based violence (GBV).

A Film with a Mission

SPEAK! was developed as part of the SPEAK Awareness-Raising Campaign under Project EQUAL, with a clear goal in mind – to explore and confront the pervasive, often invisible nature of GBV in our everyday lives. The film tells a series of interconnected stories, centered on victims, bystanders, and the transformative power of speaking out.

At its heart, SPEAK! is a call to action. Through bold visuals and emotionally resonant storytelling, it challenges viewers to recognize the signs, reconsider their roles, and, most importantly, break the silence.

Why This Nomination Matters

Being nominated at LANAFF, a festival renowned for celebrating culturally significant, socially impactful cinema, is a huge honor for us. It validates the artistic integrity of the film while also reinforcing the urgency and global relevance of its message.
