Benaki Museum
We collaborated closely with the Fundraising, PR, and Communications departments as an independent contractor, working to enhance their overall performance and effectiveness.
Our very first job. Ever!
This one’s a bit sentimental for us—it was our very first project, straight out of graduation. We had the honor and pleasure of working as an independent contractor for none other than the Benaki Museum, one of Greece’s most prestigious private museum institutions.
The Benaki Museum hardly needs an introduction, but here’s a brief one anyway: dedicated to inspiring reflection on humanity’s cultural heritage, it boasts expansive collections and organizes dynamic activities to keep the public engaged with human culture.
As a private institution, the museum relies on active and continuous fundraising in addition to the trust left by the Benaki family. We were brought in during the challenging economic years of 2012 and 2013 to assist the Fundraising, PR, and Communications departments, pivotal areas that sustain the museum’s operations. Fundraising ensures the institution remains alive and thriving, while PR and Communications foster crucial trust relationships with both public and private donors.
Looking back, it was a privilege to play a small role in supporting such an iconic institution during a critical time in its history.
