1. Project EQUAL and SPEAK: Amplifying Voices Against GBV
Our collaboration on Project EQUAL and the SPEAK Awareness-Raising Campaign stands as a testament to the power of advocacy through creativity. Addressing the pervasive issue of gender-based violence, these projects combined artistic expression, community action, and education to foster dialogue and inspire change.
From the animated short film SPEAK! to the Open Call for Artists, our work reached diverse audiences, spotlighting the importance of breaking silence, empowering bystanders, and creating a culture of equality. This effort not only resonated deeply but also reminded us of the profound impact a unified voice can have.
2. GBV S.O.S.: A Lifeline for Communities
A key milestone was the development and execution of the GBV S.O.S. campaign, an initiative designed to tackle gender-based violence by providing educational tools, resources, and a helpline for victims and bystanders. Tasked with creating a brand narrative for a luxury cocktail bar in Mykonos, we combined mythological storytelling with modern aesthetics to build a captivating universe of characters inspired by Greek myths. These characters were seamlessly integrated into the bar’s identity, offering a luxurious yet playful experience that extended beyond the physical space.
This project required unrestricted creativity, blending meticulous research with fresh design to reimagine Mykonos’ cultural vibrancy in a way that was both respectful and transformative. 4. Kefalonia’s Project Dilinata: A Step Into the Future
Another highlight of the year was Project Dilinata, our venture into creating a new cultural and business initiative on the stunning island of Kefalonia. This project is a long-term vision that has only just begun, with preliminary phases completed this year. 5. Launching Avec Plaisir’s Brand Identity, Website, and Instagram Presence
Perhaps the most personal milestone this year was unveiling our own brand identity and digital presence. The launch of our logo, paired with our trademark “dot”, marked the beginning of our visual storytelling journey. In tandem, we finally realized something we’ve been meaning to do for years—creating the website you’re currently browsing! After over a decade of work in the field, seeing all our projects brought together under one roof is an incredibly proud moment for us. This platform now serves as a comprehensive showcase of our journey, creativity, and dedication, making it easier than ever for you to explore our story and vision.
We also launched our new Instagram page, stepping confidently into the digital arena to connect with our audience on a more personal level. Through carefully curated posts, thoughtful content, and engaging visuals, we’ve built a platform that not only showcases our work but also reflects our values, vision, and personality.
